The focus of this research database, updated periodically, is on how stress affects women's health, drawing together information from obstetrics and gynecology, mind-body modalities and psychoneurophysiology (how mood and emotion affect the nervous system, immune system and the rest of the body). The main criterion for inclusion is whether the paper offered some piece of useful or intriguing data or approach. Even though some of these papers, especially the older ones, have design flaws by modern standards, they can serve as guides against design pitfalls and as spurs for future research.
Format for the citations is: Due to copyright issues, the abstracts cannot be shown here. However, instructions on obtaining abstracts will pop up in a second window that you can print out, if you wish, when you click get abstracts.
