Many hospitals have education and wellness classes. Here is information on local hospitals using mind-body medicine (meditation, relaxation and imagery, massage, yoga, etc.). * Pathways to Better Health Classes include yoga, relaxation, acupressure, biofeedback, feldenkrais, mind-body awareness, self-massage, and t'ai chi. In addition, breathing, relaxation and imagery are utilized in classes for migraine, anger management, anxiety and chronic illness. Extensive education and support groups, including menopause, PMS, infertility and incontinence.

* Patient Services offers bedside art therapy, humor program, massage, music and pet therapy.  Massage is offered at a subsidized rate of $30.  Gift certificates are available through Guest Services, and from the Gift Shop.
* Integrative Cardiovascular Services Program being developed offers CV surgical patients interactive and guided imagery including pre-op tapes, mindfulness meditation, breath work, spiritual support and a Prayer Care program.
